Savvy Surroundings was established in 2007 by professional organizer, Heather Shimek. The goal of Savvy Surroundings is to provide customer-focused solutions and systems that allow homes, home-offices, and small businesses to function more efficiently. We service clients in San Antonio and the Texas Hill Country.

Prior to becoming a professional organizer, Heather Shimek led a successful career in pharmaceutical sales for five years. Operating her business out of her home, Heather learned quickly that staying organized was instrumental in achieving success. Her desire to see others succeed and live well, as well as her natural ability to organize led her to her career in professional organizing.

Heather is a member of NAPO (National Association of Professional Organizers)-the Organizing Authority since 1985. She is also an active member in POSA, (Professional Organizers of San Antonio) a chapter in formation under NAPO.

As a professional organizer, Heather's goal is to work with others to establish functional and efficient spaces, whether at home or at the office, to free up their time and energy to focus on achieving their goals. Arming herself with continuing education, mentoring under more seasoned organizers, and staying abreast of the most current organizational tools for the home or office, Heather is ready and willing to get your space in shape.
