questions
What is a professional organizer?
A professional organizer is an individual who is committed to improving the lives of others by helping them de-clutter and get organized. What qualifies this person as a "professional" includes continued education in the field of organizing, being savvy about the newest and best products relating to organization, and commitment to objectivity and privacy when working with clients.
Can I afford a professional organizer?
Savvy Surroundings is committed to providing quality services for affordable prices. Specials are often available for new clients. The charge is by the hour, and a scheduled appointment has a 2-hour minimum. We can work with your budget and time to get any job done.
How do your services work?
In our initial conversation, we will assess your needs to determine the appropriate services you will require. We will set up a free consultation to come to your home to assess the space or spaces you want to organize, discuss what's working and what's not, and work together to form a game plan of how to get the job done. Next, we will decide on a timeline and budget that you are willing to spend in order to get organized. From there, we will work the plan together to improve your space and discuss ways to keep it that way. The goal is to create an organizational plan that you can stick with and feel good about.
I'm embarrassed about my space. How can I let a professional organizer see this mess?
Who could be more perfect than a professional organizer? You have nothing to be embarrassed about, and if anything, you should feel good about the boldness it took to contact outside help. At Savvy Surroundings, we adhere to the NAPO Code of Ethics, which consists of confidentiality, objective and professional conduct, and integrity with every client.
